TRIBHANGI DANCE THEATRE
UK Tour 10 - 19 March 2005

Johannesburg based cross-cultural dance company, Tribhangi Dance Theatre performs in the UK as part of an international collaboration between Sampad, Birmingham and Johannesburg. Under the guidance and vision of Artistic Director, Jayesperi Moopen, Tribhangi combine Bharatanatyam and African styles to percussion rhythms from both traditions. Their uniqueness lies in their boldness to constantly take risks when creating dance work that is meaningful and significant in an ever-changing environment.
