Set against the oppressive and unstable backdrop of the crumbling Mughal era in India this reworking of Strindberg's classic was conceived by Nadia Ahmad and British Asian designer Rachana Jadhav, founders of Naach Theatre. Impressed by the company's production of Miss Julie, Tara Arts, the fathers of 'Binglish' theatre, have joined forces with Naach to present this professional production of the play. artsdepot at The Bull is proud to offer their World Premiere performances.

This colourful and engaging production transposes the fraught original into a new time and space but remains loyal to its atmospheric study of Miss Julie and Jean's relationship. Featuring a three strong cast and unique set designs Miss Julie will be an extra special event presented by a new and exciting young company.
