Nirjay Mahindru is an award-winning British Asian writer, who will
be launching a his company, Conspirator's Kitchen, with the premiere
of his new black comedy thriller 'The Bottle' at The Brady Arts
Centre and Watermans Art Centre from 1st October - 16th October.
'The Bottle' is sharp witted black comedy thriller which rips apart
the sensibilities of three British Asian Londoners striving for
definition, as they tumble into a sequence of frighteningly bizarre
events.
When
dreamer Ravi inherits a stinking run down Caf in the back end of
King's Cross, he genuinely believes he's up on his luck. Calling
on his two best friends, Suresh a small-time entrepreneur and Irvin,
an out of work actor, Ravi dreams of opening a chic new joint. But
the boys friendship is threatened by an unexpected visit from Ken,
a mysterious local and a strange smell coming from the basement.

and silly songs deemed to be "their lot" within culturally
diverse theatre practice in the UK.

Bottle is directed by Dominic Hingorani, with Set Design by Radana
Chadhav and Lighting Design by Jane Mackintosh. The cast includes:
