UK Asian Music Awards 2011 Nominees Announced
2nd February 2011

The UK Asian Music Awards 2011 nominees were announced today, 2nd February 2011, at an exclusive nominations party held at Birmingham super-club 'Gatecrasher'. The nomination phase has seen thousands of fans go online to nominate their favourite artists in the 13 chosen categories, including Best Male, Best Female, Best Album and Best Desi Act. The winners of each category will be announced at the glittering UK Asian Music Awards at the Roundhouse, Camden on Thursday 10th March 2011 which will be hosted by BBC Radio 1 and BBC Asian Network presenter, Nihal and BBC One’s Waterloo Road actress, Karen David. Performing live on the night are Outlandish, Jernade Miah and an exclusive live band collaboration featuring H Dhami and Mumzy.
