Through their Radio 1 show, Bobby and Nihal have connected a new generation of Asian listeners into the mainstream. The music the duo play on the show and the tracks compiled for this album is a true representation of the UK's multi-ethnic 21st century roots.

Not only are Bobby and Nihal busy on Radio 1 they are also DJing around the world bringing their special brand of traditional bhangra, and modern drum and bass and hip hop to audiences from all over Europe right through to Bangkok and beyond. In December, in conjunction with The British Council the pair will be djing in India and inspiring a whole new audience to the culture clash that is the Bobby Friction & Nihal experience.
