The exuberant and flamboyant style of Pakistani Truck Art as a legitimate and distinct folk art representing the values and aspirations of vast majorities of Pakistanis has long gone un-noticed in the west. However in Pakistan this stunning visual signature of individuals can be seen on trucks driving across the country, literally from the Khyber to Karachi.

The Chor Bizarre Art Gallery that sits alongside the Indian restaurant in Albermarle St, London will be hosting a month long exhibition celebrating the work of artist Anjum Rana, whose creations allow the general public to bring this beautiful and intricate work into their homes.

The exhibition includes truck art items ranging from the purely decorative to the functional - enamelled utensils commonly used in roadside restaurants as well as wall hangings, mirrors, key chains, oil lamps, boxes and other interesting and collectable items.
