A HUMAN SAGA SET DURING THE INDO - PAK PARTITION

During the Indo-Pak partition, full scale riots broke out in which thousands of families were displaced overnight. The worst hit as always in any battle - were the women. Thousands of helpless women were raped and kidnapped as communal and political tensions let loose hell in the Indo-Pak border villages.

While the riot was in full swing, there were people who still hoped for humanity to survive and were waiting for their dreams to come true. Relationships, social mores and cultural standards were put to the test when two communities were fighting out of insecurities for an unknown future. Yet there was light at the end of the tunnel. Love, sacrifice and understanding of human emotions paved a road to a coexistence and peace.

Will the air again rent with the joy of dance and music - the ultimate and essential spirit of Punjab? Will love win over hate?
