The movie begins where 'Koi Mil Gaya' ended. After 'jadoo' had left Rohit [Hrithik Roshan] and went back to the space, he and Nisha [Preity zinta] get married. Soon they have a son Krrish and just when it seemed that the world had finally become perfect for the Mehras, tragedy struck with both Rohit and Nisha dying in a car accident.

Krrish was devastated but love came in the form of his grandmother [Rekha] who showered all the love in the world on her adorable grandson. In his growing up years, Krrish slowly started realizing that he had superpowers. These powers came from the fact that Rohit had been blessed with these from 'jadoo' and from Rohit they had been genetically passed on to Krrish.

As the kid grew up, he turned into a handsome young man Krrish Mehra [Hrithik Roshan] who possessed great strength, speed and intelligence. Inspite of blessed with these powers, what fascinated him most was peace around him. He loved the beauty of nature, the mountains around him and the scenic beauty where he lived in. For him, life was all about being at peace and being in love. And he did fall in love when he came across a beautiful girl named Priya [Priyanka Chopra].

Priya, a sweet girl with whom anyone could fall in love with. A girl, whose very smile could make a man go weak-kneed. A girl, who made Krrish understand the meaning of first love.

She had arrived all the way from Singapore to India for camping and trekking in the location where Krrish lived who soon found himself in love with her. But as luck would have it, it was time for Priya to go back and Krrish was alone again with his grand mom. Looking at his heartbroken state, she inspires him to travel to Singapore and woo his ladylove back..

Was it just love that got Krrish in Singapore? Or was it destiny that played its hands in getting this young man to a place where he would soon be responsible to the whole world?

The world that had to be saved from a powerful yet evil [Naseeruddin Shah]!!

Unknown to what destiny had in store for him, Krrish reached Singapore, which was a far cry from the scenic beauty he belonged to. But the friendly heart in him made him adjust to his new surroundings as well and soon he found friends in this fascinating world as well. With a bunch of Chinese friends in tow, he found Priya and managed to woo her.

The two young hearts found solace in each other and it was time for songs'n'dances!

While enjoying themselves in a carnival, they made merry in an exciting environment where people sung and danced while wearing masks of different kinds. In an unfortunate event, an accident happens as circus tent catches fire due to a short circuit and the performers get trapped. Realizing yet again that he had the powers in him to be a superhero and save the innocent, he manages to rescue them all.

But he doesn't do this as Krrish! Instead he picks up one of the masks that was being worn by people in carnival and wears it over his face to protect his identity!

Overnight he becomes a superhero, a savior, a MASKED MAN who could be called in the moment of distress. Everyone wanted to know who was this MASKED MAN, from where did he come, where did he go and where did he belong to? Entire Singapore goes on a nationwide search to trace him but Krrish had now been burdened with a much heavier responsibility.

The responsibility to save the world!
