on Nitin Sawhney's critically acclaimed album, 'Beyond Skin', Sanchita
Farruque is a voice cloaked in emotion and soulful inspiration.
Most recently, she joined multi-percussionist Trilok Gurtu as lead
vocalist on his World Tour, which kicked off in March 2003, the
tour is scheduled to take her to venues across Europe, America and
Asia. Sanchita expresses vocals of pure delight. Her interpretations
of Jazz-Funk, Eastern beats and Drum 'n' Bass, enveloped in Soul
will amaze.

A multi-media
dance piece on the theme of migration, using the South Asian classical
dance form Kathak blended harmoniously with Chau, Kalaripayatu (martial
arts) folk and other physical disciplines (e.g. Yoga) together with
South Asian contemporary music and video projection.
Artistic
director of Shamaa Dance collaborates for the choreography of the
dance piece, with Madhu Natraj-Heri, director of Stem Dance Theatre.

one of Strindberg's greatest and most haunting plays, Miss Julie
is transported to India's colonial past to the time of the crumbling
Mogul gentry, where Miss Julie is the last in a dying line of nobility.
The friction between forbidden passion and social status is never
more apparent than in this era of Indian history. Directed by Nadia
Fall.
