launches movies-on-your-phone service in India

New Media, the digital arm of UTV Software Communications Ltd.,
today announced the launch of 'Audio Cinema', a first of its kind
movie-on-your-phone service in India. This technological innovation
offers movie enthusiasts, a one hour audio version of their favourite
movies with dialogues, narration and the gist of the story for as
little as six rupees per minute. Opening the audio box office with
smash hits such as Fashion and Sholay (Hindi), Prem Loka (Kannada),
Thalapathi (Tamil) and Gang Leader (Telugu), Audio Cinema hopes
have movie buffs hooked on to their phones each Friday with refreshing
new content.

Plays Audio Cinema is available through various service providers
in India including Idea, Vodafone, Airtel Mobile and Reliance. A
few of the innovative features associated with this initiative including
users being able to pause/resume a movie in between phone calls.
Listeners can choose their preference from a long list of titles,
coupled with their preferred language option.

and has made it available across various platforms. In todays
fast paced life, people want everything on the go and it is on the
mobile that such services can be offered. Audio Cinema is our initiative
to give our movie crazy and a busy nation, another avenue to whet
