EDITORIAL COMMENT

This week I am reminded of Rudyard Kipling's poem 'IF' that starts with 'If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs and blaming it on you". Well Sir Ian Blair has lost his headship of the Met Police and is squarely blaming London Mayor, Boris Johnson. City folk are losing their heads everywhere and blaming it on everyone else and President Sarkozy is losing his head over the whole "turban issue"!

Anyway, the poem ends with "And - what is more - you'll be a Man, my son!" which doesn't suit FTSE Women at all!

Until next time,
