EDITORIAL COMMENT

Are we living in "A Golden Age"? I ponder this daily whilst hearing of Asian success stories and mulling over the freedom that we have to challenge the "status quo". This week, I can't help wondering if you can ever regain your position after suing your boss like Assistant Tarique Ghaffur is doing at the moment. Answers on an email please!

Elsewhere the "Golden Age" of music and cinema is celebrated by Sonu Niigaam's tribute to the late Mohammed Rafi and the Sabri ensemble's new score for the silent film classic 'Shiraz'. And of course, Tahmima's Anam's 'A Golden Age' is lauded as the winner of the Commonwealth 'First Book' writers prize.
